Cyber Yankee
About:
Cyber Yankee (CY) is the National Guard’s (NG’s) annual tactical-level Defensive Cyber Operations (DCO) exercise focused on the New England region. The exercise evaluates a whole-of-government response to a significant cyber incident involving Critical Infrastructure and Key Resources (CIKR). CY includes participants from the Active and Reserve components of the US military, local/state/federal government, and civilian members of private industry. All participants work together to perform incident response, threat analysis, and cyber defensive operations as “Blue” teams against a cyber offensive or “Red” team performing as multiple threat actors on a critical infrastructure enterprise network environment. Through our New England Chapter, the Military Cyber Professionals Association (MCPA) is proud to support this exercise and those participating in it! As a 501(c)(3) educational nonprofit charity, we are now seeking sponsors to help offset the cost of supporting this exercise with activities including a dinner on Tuesday 14 May and Distinguished Visitors (DV) Day on Wednesday 15 May 2024 on Cape Cod.
