Leaders

Advisors, Volunteers, Partners, and Supporters assemble at the 7th Annual Board of Advisors Meeting, 2023, Washington DC

Our Team

We are proud to have many experienced professionals contributing to our mission and vision through active leadership roles. All personnel involved with leading the Military Cyber Professionals Association are unpaid volunteers serving in their personal capacities.

There are two main echelons of leadership and oversight; national and chapter. The national leadership includes the Board of Directors, Board of Advisors, National President, and National Staff. Chapter leadership includes regional Presidents and their staff. Contact information for local leaders are listed on the MCPA member-only intranet.

National President

The National President serves as the primary voice of the MCPA with internal and external audiences.

President Cleary's career began as an Enlisted Avionics Technician and in November 2023 he concluded a tour as the inaugural Principal Cyber Advisor (PCA) of the Department of the Navy, a Senior Executive Service (SES) role equivalent in rank to a three-star general/flag officer.
