FIRST Tech Challenge

posted Feb 2, 2015, 10:01 AM by Paul Jordan

Wow, what a great event.  Thanks to everyone who helped out!  If you missed it, don't worry!  The World competition will be in April over in St. Louis.  This will be an excellent opportunity to get out into the local community and support STEM education.  If you'd like to volunteer, please let me know!  I worked as a judge at this competition and it was a very rewarding experience.

Additionally, I made some good contacts at the competition and we're throwing around the idea of hosting this event (the Southern Illinois Regional competition) here at Scott next year.  If anyone is interested in helping out or in becoming our STEM outreach coordinator and organizing these types of events, please let me know.
